NY EDEN — Eden Planning Board schedules National Grid facility hearing for June. Chairman Dan Buchanan and board members advanced the site plan for the utility facility at 9733 Southwestern Boulevard and scheduled a public hearing for June 3 after establishing conditions including an emergency response plan coordinated with the Fire Department, detailed landscape improvements, and a stormwater management program conforming to town code. Board members Mark Clark, Fran McLaughlin, Katrina Schmitt-Rouf, and Marc Timblin specified that six 31-foot light poles be used for emergency situations only and comply with dark sky standards, and that temporary access roads be removed.
