Zoning Board Approves Storage Building Variance on Wepax Road
misc · Meeting of May 1, 2026
NY EDEN — Eden zoning board OKs storage building variance for Wepax Road property. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 5-1 to approve Nancy and Don Sutfin's application to place a storage building more than 2 feet forward of their primary residence at 3346 Wepax Road in violation of Code section 225-25A (4)(b). Chair Kristin Kent, Curtis Neureuter, Douglas Scheu, Sara Buchanan, and Todd Keppler voted yes; Herb Stockschlaeder voted no.
The applicants stated the house sits as far back on the property as feasible and alternative placements would require extensive tree removal and create side yard setback violations. The Board determined the variance would produce no adverse impact on neighborhood character or environmental conditions.
